Most brands have
never opened AMC

Most brands on Amazon know AMC as a name they have heard, or a line in a deck someone else built. Some know it goes deeper than standard reporting, without knowing how far. Almost nobody has opened it, run a query, and read the answer themselves. It is already sitting in your ad console, included, waiting. Here is why it stays closed, and what we are going to do about that in one afternoon.

  • 01
Nobody ever explained what it is AMC gets described as a "privacy-safe clean room," which tells you nothing. In plain English: a locked room where Amazon lets you ask questions about your own advertising, and hands back grouped, anonymous answers. That is the whole idea. We start there.
  • 02
It used to need SQL, and the reputation stuck Templates, guided workflows and AI-assisted query building now cover most of what a brand needs on day one. The barrier moved. The reputation did not, so teams still assume they need an analyst to get started.
  • 03
So the real questions go unasked Standard reports tell you what happened. AMC helps explain why it happened, and which touch earlier in the journey actually did the work. Without it, budget keeps moving on the last click alone.

Questions your dashboard
cannot answer

Have you ever wondered what the path to a lifetime customer actually looks like? Or what a customer's journey really involves before they buy? Standard reporting will never reach these. AMC was built for exactly this, and every one of them is a query you can run yourself.

What is a customer actually worth to us over time, not just on the first order?

Lifetime value

What does the journey to a purchase really look like, and how many touches does it take?

Path to conversion

Which channel introduced the customer that search got the credit for closing?

Multi-touch attribution

How long do buyers actually take to decide, and are we giving up too early?

Time to convert

At what point does the next impression stop doing any work at all?

Reach & frequency

Which spend brings genuinely new customers, and which keeps paying for the same ones?

New-to-brand & overlap

Taught from zero,
then handed over

We assume nobody in the room has opened AMC before. Ahmed teaches it properly first, then you spend the rest of the afternoon in your own console using it. You work on your own brand, at your own laptop, at your own pace. Nothing here involves watching slides in silence.

01
Before the event
Just bring a laptop
Nothing to prepare, nothing to read first. Bring a laptop with AMC open if you already have access, and if you do not, come as you are. We start from zero on the day either way.
Bring a laptop · no prep required
02
In the room
Your account, your query
First Ahmed teaches AMC properly, from what it is through every capability worth knowing, so everyone shares the same floor. Then you open your own console and run a real query on your own brand, step by step, with the room moving together. You see your own numbers, not a case study.

What AMC is, what it needs, and how brands actually use it
Ahmed Hashim opens the session on the assumption that nobody in the room has used AMC. Plain English, no jargon, no SQL. What AMC is and what it can see, every capability worth knowing, what you need in place before you can use it, and how brands are putting it to work right now. This is the map you use for the rest of the afternoon.
  • What a clean room is, in one sentence, and why Amazon built one
  • Every capability worth knowing: path to conversion, time to convert, reach and frequency, new-to-brand, audience overlap, lifetime value
  • What AMC can see, what it cannot, and why answers come back grouped and anonymous
  • Requirements: who is eligible, what it costs, and what you need in place before you can use it
  • Getting your own AMC instance: the exact path to switching it on, and what happens while it backfills
  • How brands actually use it: the reads that move budget, and the audiences they build from them
  • Where templates and AI-assisted query building removed the SQL barrier
Workshop · 30 min
Run your first queries, from scratch
Laptops open, AMC open. Ahmed Hashim takes the room through two or three of AMC's built-in queries and you run each one yourself, one step at a time, together. Nothing is assumed and nobody is left behind on a step. By the end of this block there is real output from your own account on your screen, and you know exactly how it got there.
  • Find the built-in templates, and understand what each one is actually asking
  • Set your date range and inputs, run it, and watch the result come back
  • Two to three queries run end to end, on your own brand
  • Taught from scratch, so no prior AMC experience is needed
  • No AMC access yet? Follow along on the screen and learn every step
  • Accrue team circulating throughout, so a stuck query gets unstuck in a minute
Workshop · 30 min
Custom queries, and reading what comes back
Templates only take you so far. This block is about writing a query for a question nobody built a template for, starting with customer lifetime value, and then the part most training skips entirely: reading the output properly and deciding what to actually do about it.
  • How to write a custom query, and how to brief AI-assisted query building
  • Worked example: customer lifetime value, built from scratch
  • How to read the output: what the columns mean, and where people misread them
  • The two most common false conclusions from a first AMC result, and how to avoid both
  • What to do once you have the data: which findings should move budget, and which are noise
  • Accrue team at your desk while you work through it
Open desk · 25 min
Open desk time + 1:1s
Keep your laptop open. Stay and run the next query on your list while the room is still full of people who can help, and take your turn at the monogramming table. Ahmed, Angel and Haris come to you, one desk at a time, until 3:00 PM.
  • 1:1 conversations with Ahmed, Angel and Haris
  • Pick your piece, choose your initials, and watch it monogrammed by hand
  • Book a strategy call on the spot to go deeper on your own account
  • Open networking until 3:00 PM
